MUGWUMP SOCIETY MISSION

MISSION STATEMENT 

Our mission is to serve thespians who have dreamed a dream of a life in the theatre, telling stories for the benefit of all humankind. Such thespians need not be of a specific age, gender, or ethnicity, the only prerequisite is a willingness to train in the magical & dramatic arts, without limitation, and a willingness to sacrifice pre-conceived notions about how such dreams are obtained in the contemporary entertainment industry; understanding that a path to a successful career exists for all ages and types but that the obstacles to success may vary greatly depending on an thespian’s genotype, age and preparations the individual has already made. 

Our mission is to identify the most talented and motivated thespians and pair them with the MOST EFFICIENT STRATEGY for realizing practical career milestones in the shortest possible time (and not sooner). Our mission is to identify those rare individuals who are willing to abandon their false notion of the fake (read: chump) Hollywood dream so that they will be willing to make the sacrifices which will be necessary in order to appease the gatekeepers who hold the keys to the Kingdom of Hollywood. 

Our mission is to demonstrate, repeatedly and with said willing thespians, that it is possible, even as a newcomer, to personally transform oneself into a theatrical illusion of the most entertaining and satisfying kind such that doors in Hollywood that were previously closed, open, as if by magic. As if the illusion itself is a magical spell realizing the dream itself. 

Our mission is to assist previously successful thespians who have been discarded or abandoned by an impersonal, shallow and callous culture of ambitious narcissists (without naming names) and restore them to their dream by reintroducing them to Hollywood with a strategy appropriate to their current circumstances. 

...and of course, by “Kingdom of Hollywood” we mean that ephemeral Kingdom of storytelling which exists simultaneously everywhere and nowhere, has no commander-in-chief, and is an emergent property of the collective human imagination, mysteriously bringing to life such epic tales as The Lord of The Rings, Game of Thrones, The Matrix, STAR WARS and/or SPACEBALLS, Oblivion, The Hunger Games, Divergent and other such transformative works which restructure the conscience and imagination of our entire planet, to the collective benefit of all.
